ÈËÑýÌìÌÃapp

Despite forecasts of wet weather, the rain held off and visitors enjoyed a fantastic day filled with entertainment, activities and community spirit. This yearÈËÑýÌìÌÃapp festival featured more rides than ever before, with our students receiving complimentary unlimited ride wristbands to enjoy the attractions throughout the day.

The festival grounds were buzzing with activity, featuring a wide variety of rides, food and drink stalls, crafts, clothing, showbags and community displays.

A major highlight was the Community Stage Program, which celebrated the diversity and talent within our community. The program opened with a welcome from the SRC Student Leadership Team, followed by a beautiful Qur'an recitation by our Hifz student, Tariq.

Audiences enjoyed a range of cultural and educational performances, including nasheeds by Songbirds and the Al Madina Arabic Language School Nasheed Group, cultural performances by the Libyan WomenÈËÑýÌìÌÃapp Organisation and the Urdu Language School, and an Arabic Alphabet Poem presentation by students from Epping Musallah Maktab.

The stage program also showcased important community initiatives, including presentations from ÈËÑýÌìÌÃappÈËÑýÌìÌÃapp student-led Incinerator Action Group, who shared their advocacy work and commitment to environmental awareness.

Visitors of all ages were captivated by the Wildlife Exposure Show, while exciting demonstrations by Hilltop Archers provided a fitting finale. The event concluded with a closing address from College Co-Founder Ms Rahat Arain and a heartfelt dua by Sheikh Waseem.

The Annual Eid Festival continues to be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Eid, strengthen community bonds and welcome people from all backgrounds to our College. We extend our sincere thanks to all staff, volunteers, performers, stallholders, sponsors and community members who helped make the day such a memorable success.
