Stay Connected with SEQTA Engage

SEQTA Engage is a simple and convenient app that helps you stay connected with your childÈËÑýÌìÌÃapp learning and important College updates – all in one place.

As part of our ongoing efforts to streamline communication, the College is transitioning to SEQTA Engage as our primary platform for communicating with parents and guardians.

This means fewer emails in your inbox, with notices, announcements and key information easily accessible within the app.

Stay Connected with SEQTA Engage

SEQTA Engage provides quick and convenient access to a range of information and features, including:

  • Your childÈËÑýÌìÌÃapp timetable
  • School reports and NAPLAN results
  • Important College notices and announcements
  • Weekly events and activities
  • Direct email communication with your childÈËÑýÌìÌÃapp teachers
  • Updates on your childÈËÑýÌìÌÃapp learning and progress
  • And much more!

 

How to Access SEQTA Engage

Follow the step-by-step instructions below (with screenshots at bottom) to access SEQTA Engage through your web browser:

  1. Visit the College website.
  2. Click Parents in the top-right menu.
  3. Select SEQTA.
  4. Sign in using your registered email address.
  5. You will be taken to the SEQTA Engage homepage.
  6. Use the menu on the left to explore the available features.

 

Download the SEQTA Engage Mobile App

Once you have successfully logged into SEQTA Engage via your web browser:

  1. Click Settings.
  2. Select Connect Mobile App.
  3. A message will appear confirming that an email has been sent to your registered email address with instructions for connecting the app.
  4. Open the email from ÈËÑýÌìÌÃapp with the subject line "Log in now to SEQTA Engage."
  5. Download the SEQTA Engage app from the App Store or Google Play.
  6. Open the app and scan the QR code provided in the email to complete the setup.

 

A Guide to the Main Tabs on the Left Menu:

  • Courses: Shows your childÈËÑýÌìÌÃapp current and past subjects (organised by year level). If you have more than one child, select their name to view their specific courses.
  • Documents: Access important school documents, including CANVAS information and training links.
  • Notices: Important College notices and announcements – we recommend checking this section regularly.
  • Reports: Find end-of-semester and NAPLAN reports here. Click on your childÈËÑýÌìÌÃapp name, then select the report you’d like to view.
  • Timetable: View your childÈËÑýÌìÌÃapp daily timetable, including class names, teachers, and room numbers. Use the drop-down at the top to switch between children.

 

How to Email Your ChildÈËÑýÌìÌÃapp Teacher:

  1. Go to the Timetable tab
  2. Click on the relevant subject
  3. A subject pop-up will appear
  4. Click the envelope icon
  5. A new email window will open – the teacherÈËÑýÌìÌÃapp email will appear in the BCC field
  6. Cut and paste the email into the To field if needed, write your message, and send as usual

 

Logging Out:
When you’re done, we recommend logging out by clicking the door icon with a red arrow at the bottom of the left-hand menu.

 

If you haven’t already, we encourage all parents and guardians to download the SEQTA Engage app and enable notifications so you never miss an important update.
