Alhamdulillah, The Primary School team alongside the Islamic Studies department were delighted to host the Al Siraat Hajj Simulation Production. This was a special occasion that brought together our school community to witness our students bring the journey of Hajj to life through an immersive production play and informative experience.
Throughout the term, our Year 3 – 6 students explored the rituals and significance of Hajj in their classes. It was wonderful to see their knowledge and understanding come to life as they shared their learning with parents and community members through a live production and interactive experience.
Alhamdulillah, our students guided visitors through the key rites of Hajj, including Tawaf around the Ka'bah, Sa'ee between Safa and Marwah, standing on the plains of Arafat, spending time in Mina, collecting pebbles at Muzdalifah, performing the symbolic stoning at Jamarat, and drinking Zamzam water. Each station was thoughtfully prepared and presented with enthusiasm, confidence and sincerity.
It was a truly memorable occasion that enabled parents and the wider community to gain a deeper appreciation of the rituals and spiritual significance of Hajj.
We are grateful to the staff, students and families whose contributions made this event such a meaningful success. We pray it served as a source of inspiration and learning, while strengthening our understanding of this blessed pillar of Islam, inShaAllah.
