The Spelling Bee challenges students in three key areas:

1. Accuracy: How many of the 30 spelling words are correctly submitted.
2. Time: The total time taken to spell and submit each word, recorded to the millisecond.
3. Final Ranking: Students with the same accuracy score are ranked by speed, with 30/30 scorers listed from fastest to slowest, followed by those with 29/30, and so on.

Following the School Competition Round, the top 200 ranked entrants in each state and territory are invited to progress to the State/Territory Finals. From there, the top three students in each category will advance to the National Final.

We are thrilled to announce that Hajra Ahmed from 4A has qualified for the State/Territory Finals! This is an outstanding achievement, and we are so proud of her dedication, skill and determination.
