News Student Leadership
5 June 2026
Two of our Year 11 SRC students and our Year 12 College Captains recently attended the annual Student Representative Council (SRC) Leadership Forum hosted by Al Taqwa College.
The forum brought together student leaders from Islamic schools across Melbourne for a day of leadership development, collaboration and networking. Through interactive workshops, discussions and team-building activities, students explored key leadership qualities including communication, integrity, teamwork, empathy and service.
A central theme of the forum was the important role young people play as future leaders within both the Muslim community and wider Australian society. Students also had the opportunity to connect with peers from other schools, building relationships and fostering a sense of shared purpose.
The day concluded with a tour of the Three Holy Mosques Week displays and an inspiring presentation from the Al Taqwa College Vice Principal.
Our students represented ÈËÑýÌìÌÃapp with professionalism, enthusiasm and maturity throughout the forum.
