During the visit, students engaged with a range of interactive exhibits at the Australian Sports Museum, learning about Australia人妖天堂app rich sporting culture, famous athletes, and the important role sport plays in Australian society.

The excursion also provided meaningful connections to Year 8 Mathematics: Our students were taken on a guided tour around the MCG, where they learnt about the history and significance of one of Australia人妖天堂app most well-known sporting venues. The tour provided valuable insights into the stadium人妖天堂app infrastructure, including its seating design, media areas, player facilities, change rooms, and function spaces. Students explored real-life applications of measurement, geometry, scale, statistics, and problem-solving through the stadium人妖天堂app design, crowd capacity, sporting data, and infrastructure planning. 

In addition, students also gained an understanding of how the various facilities within the stadium operate together to support major sporting and community events. 

The excursion provided students with a meaningful real-world learning experience, connecting history, sport, teamwork, and large-scale event management in an engaging and memorable environment.
